Size of Baby (per “What To Expect”) – Size of a coconut. Approximately 3-4 pounds.
Weight Gain – 21 pounds. I think. It all depends on the time of day and what I have been eating. Water retention fluctuates so much. I have to make sure to drink water. ALOT.
Movement – Very large outward movements. Most of the movements with my first were isolated to the top of my rib cage. It will be interesting to see where the doctor thinks that she is positioned at my next appointment.
Sleep – I’m hot. I’m cold. My daughter cries. I was worried about passing my certified personal trainer test. I literally have resorted to counting sheep to stop my mind from racing. The last few weeks of this pregnancy are FLYING by. I think I am starting to realize I have a lot to do before baby gets here!
What I miss – FiA! You know that saying, you never know what you got until it’s gone? That goes for this workout group. I haven’t been able to post at a workout in several months. I saw all of the ladies on Saturday night and had a great time catching up. I am ready to run, swing a kettlebell and start my mornings with these ladies again!
Best Moments this Week – A fun date night/FiA anniversary party with my husband. The love I have for this man is incredible. There is a reason why you need to marry your best friend. Simply put, when you settle down and have kids, you will end up spending the majority of your time with this person (sometimes looking your worst). I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else.
I have finally let go and let him take the reigns completely at swim lessons with my daughter. Since I had to take the written part of the personal trainer certification Saturday, they spent a good part of the day one on one. He is already trying to get her to lift weights in the pool.
Looking forward to – My next doctor’s appointment. I think I said in my last update that my appointment was scheduled for Monday. I had to reschedule. It’s on Wednesday now. In the afternoon. I have to bring my daughter. This should be interesting.
Cravings – Food. A lot of it. My daughter’s back lower molars are coming in. She isn’t napping. I am tired. I am stressed. I had a glass of wine on Thursday and Friday night to go along with my pizza.
Symptoms – Big belly. Enough said. Pictures coming soon.
Workouts – Much love to my last week of subbing at Flywheel Charlotte prior to baby number two getting here. From here on out, I will be teaching my designated time slots only. Two classes a week. That’s it. I’m sure that you will see me in the studio on my off days though! Numbers in the Sunday 7:30AM class were incredible. So was the energy!
