As I am sure that many of you have noticed, the past few weeks I have been absent from my blog. To be honest, I haven’t had much to say. After a series of events, I realized that I couldn’t do it all. I simply needed to shut it down, rest, and repair the body that I have pushed so hard since I gave birth to my daughter. I actually happened to come down with something so bad that I ended up working from home on the couch for almost a week (while my husband graciously stepped into the role of super dad).
I certainly don’t want anyone to worry about me or feel sorry for me, but I do want to thank all of the amazing friends (really family) that have reached out to make sure that we are alright. Due to my inability to work my normal schedule, I did have to reach out some people for help.

With several weeks off, I have gradually built back into working out. In fact, if you have missed my workouts, I have a great calorie burning, at home, no equipment necessary workout ready to post this week. I am excited to be back, and I can’t wait to share with you some new exercise ideas and recipes that I have tried over my time off!
